Refurbishing without closing
Most properties refurbish a floor or a block at a time so the rest keeps earning. That means the furniture from twenty rooms has to go somewhere, and corridors, banquet halls and basements are not good places for it.
Moving it off-site keeps the open floors clean and quiet for guests. Furniture is handled the same way as our furniture storage, and our guide on preventing damage in storage covers bed bugs and damp. The labelled lots also make it easy to bring each room back exactly as it was, or to mix old and new pieces in the new layout.

Can you keep each room’s furniture together?
Yes. Items labelled by floor and room are stored and returned as room lots.
How do you prevent bed bugs spreading in storage?
The warehouse is pest-managed. Bed bugs usually travel inside infested furniture, so any affected room should be treated before its furniture is collected.
Can collections avoid disturbing guests?
Yes. Tell us the quiet hours and the service entrance and we schedule around them.
Can you store curtains, cushions and spare linen?
Yes, if they are clean and completely dry. Pack them in cartons or bags with a moisture absorber, labelled by floor or room.
