What we store, and how each piece is handled
Beds and mattresses
Bed frames are dismantled and the parts bagged. Mattresses go in mattress covers and are stored flat or on edge, not folded.
Wardrobes and almirahs
Emptied, doors secured, and large ones taken apart where the design allows.
Dining sets and chairs
Glass and marble tops are packed separately with corner protection. Chairs are wrapped and nested where possible.
Fridges and washing machines
Need to be defrosted and drained before pickup. We store them upright.
TVs and electronics
Original boxes are best. Otherwise screens are wrapped with padding and stored upright.

What damages furniture in storage, and how we avoid it
Most furniture that comes out of storage worse than it went in has been hurt by one of four things: moisture, pests, weight or rough handling. Gurgaon adds dust for most of the year and humidity in the monsoon.
Moisture is why we avoid sealing wood and upholstery in airtight plastic, and why we ask that everything be dry before pickup. Pests are handled with a managed pest-control routine at the warehouse. Furniture coming from a home with a termite problem should be treated before it is stored, so it does not carry the problem with it.

Heavy pieces sit at the bottom and nothing heavy goes on top of upholstered furniture or mattresses. Handling is about the crew. The same people who wrap your furniture load it, so they know what is fragile.
Getting furniture ready for pickup
A little preparation on your side makes the pieces come back in the same condition.
Do
- Empty drawers, wardrobes and cabinets completely
- Defrost the fridge 24 hours ahead and dry it with the door open
- Drain the washing machine and dry the drum
- Clean and dry wooden surfaces; dust and moisture are the main enemies
- Take photos of expensive pieces before they are wrapped
- Keep screws and fittings from anything you dismantle yourself in a labelled bag
Avoid
- Do not wrap wooden or leather furniture in airtight plastic
- Do not store mattresses folded or under heavy boxes
- Do not leave food, liquids or gas cylinders inside any furniture

Questions about furniture storage
How much does furniture storage cost in Gurgaon?
Furniture and appliances usually go on our Space plan, which starts at ₹2,499 a month. Larger homes get a custom monthly price based on volume. We confirm the price before pickup, and you can use our price calculator for an estimate.
Will my sofa get damaged in storage?
Not if it is clean, dry, wrapped in breathable material and kept away from heavy loads. That is how we store upholstery. Fabric stored in sealed plastic, or under boxes, is what usually gets ruined.
Can I store a mattress?
Yes. Mattresses go into covers and are stored flat or on their edge, never folded and never under heavy items.
How long can furniture stay in storage?
There is no maximum. Plans run month to month, and many customers store for a year or more during postings abroad or house rebuilds.
Do you dismantle and reassemble beds and wardrobes?
We dismantle standard beds and wardrobes for safe transport and reassemble them on delivery. Tell us about any built-in or unusual pieces in advance.
