What you can store allowed and prohibited items
Most things from a home or an office are fine. A short list of items is not, for everyone’s safety.
Things you can store
Appliances
Fridge (defrosted), washing machine (drained), TV, microwave, uninstalled AC.
Cartons
Clothes, books, kitchenware, toys, décor.
Luggage and trunks
Suitcases, steel trunks, travel bags.
Bicycles and sports gear
Cycles, gym equipment, golf sets.
Office goods
Workstations, chairs, IT equipment (powered down), archive cartons.
Business stock
Non-perishable inventory, packaging, samples, event material.
Seasonal items
Coolers, heaters, quilts, festive décor.
Things we cannot accept
- Gas cylinders, petrol, diesel, kerosene or any fuel
- Paint, thinners, chemicals, firecrackers or anything flammable or explosive
- Food, grains or anything perishable
- Plants and animals
- Goods that need refrigeration or temperature control
- Weapons, ammunition, drugs or anything illegal
- Anything that leaks, smells or attracts pests
Better kept in a bank locker
- Jewellery and cash
- Passports and original property papers
- Irreplaceable photos or keepsakes (keep copies)
Item questions
Can I store a fridge?
Yes. Defrost it at least 24 hours before pickup and leave the door open so it dries completely.
Can I store an air conditioner?
Yes, once a technician has uninstalled it. Store the indoor and outdoor units together.
Can I store a bike or scooter?
Bicycles, yes. For motorbikes and scooters, call us first so we can confirm.
What if I am not sure about an item?
Ask us before pickup. Send a photo on WhatsApp and we will tell you.
