Storage prices in Gurgaon are confusing because providers quote in different ways. Some advertise a price per item, some per square foot and some per “BHK”. Some include pickup, others charge it separately. This guide puts the numbers in one place.

These ranges come from prices that Gurgaon storage providers advertise publicly, including our own, as of October 2026. They are a starting point, not a quote.

The spread for a 1 BHK is wide because “1 BHK” means very different things. A bachelor’s 1 BHK with a bed, a sofa and twenty cartons is a fraction of a family’s 1 BHK with a dining set, two wardrobes and a fridge.
What makes storage more expensive
Volume. This is the biggest factor by far. Bulky furniture such as L-shaped sofas, king beds and six-seater dining sets takes far more space than its price tag suggests.
Access at your home. A third-floor builder floor with no lift, or a society that only allows a two-hour lift slot, needs a bigger crew or more time.
Packing. Loose kitchenware, books and clothes need cartons, wrapping and labour. Pre-packed, labelled cartons cost less to handle.
Partial retrievals. Taking out a few items several times during the storage period means more trips. Ask how these are charged.
Duration. Longer stays often get a lower monthly rate, but check whether that rate requires advance payment.
The costs people forget to ask about
Before you compare two quotes, ask each provider:
- Is pickup included, or charged separately? Is it charged once or every month?
- Is packing material included?
- What does it cost to get everything back at the end? What about a partial delivery?
- Is there a security deposit or a minimum period?
- Is GST included in the quoted price?
The cheapest headline price is often not the cheapest total.
Storage vs renting a godown or a bigger flat
